Setting rest and duty, and its affects on fatigue management

Still following the “rolling-rest” mantra?  Properly setting crew rest and duty is not only key to remain in compliance with regulations, but it is critical to ensure that flight crews are properly managing fatigue and stay fresh and ready for battle. This often misunderstood (or mis-interpreted) element can stress the culture if not handled just right.  And it’s not just for the 135 folks.
