Yardley, PA: WYVERN Ltd, the global leader in manned and unmanned safety, quality and safety risk management solutions for aviation eagerly announces the launch of its new Flight Leader Program.
Wingman Operators that complete Safety Leader Training Course are now eligible to enter our new Flight Leader Program. This program leverages the principles of disciplined debriefs utilized by top professionals around the world and continuous coaching and validation, similar to the way athletes achieve top performance. While the Wingman Program validates an operator’s safety performance via an on-site assessment, the Flight Leader Program leverages technology and virtual meetings, i.e. no more audits.
“The Flight Leader Program breaks away from the paradigm of legacy audit programs. By pursing Flight Leader accreditation, operators avoid ‘performance drift’. Flight data analysis and human factors training, and event monitoring are essential to achieving top performance. In this program, operator safety performance is reviewed quarterly instead of biennially, and coaching is not only allowed, but is an essential part of the program”, says Sonnie Bates, CEO of WYVERN.
Quarterly visits by a WYVERN Coach are enabled by technology. These frequent virtual meetings enable a more meaningful and effective experience along the journey of operational excellence. It also reduces the costs of safety performance validation by eliminating travel costs.
These quarterly coaching visits review the operator’s:
- SMS performance to achieve ICAO Level 4,
- Continued conformity to international standards,
- Human Factors Program,
- Flight Data Analysis Program,
- Cultural Assessments, and
- Aviation Hazard and Threat Surveys
While in the Flight Leader Program, an operator is still considered a Wingman. Once the operator achieves excellence in all six areas listed above, they are eligible to be recognized as an Accredited Flight Leader. The Wingman and Flight Leader programs are available to ALL operators: commercial, non-commercial, fixed-wing, and rotor-wing.
The Flight Leader Program is also available to government and training organizations. Contact Sonnie Bates at sonnie.bates@wyvernltd.com or +800-946-4626 for more information.
