While the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) has been in widespread use for several decades now, some operations have yet to embrace the concept.
“That’s only for the big guys” or “We don’t want anyone else seeing our dirty laundry” are just some of the misconceptions we still hear. ASAP has tremendous value as a beneficial tool in helping to understand trouble spots in your operation – trouble spots that would otherwise remain unknown. Through ASAP, these troubling trends can be identified and acted upon by leadership, not to punish the offender, but to prevent a tragic recurrence.
Our chief presenter will be Russ Lawton, Director of Safety and ASAP Program Manager for the Air Charter Safety Foundation. Russ has a wealth of experience with 50 years in key safety leadership positions in the industry, and a genuine passion for aviation safety. Please join us to hear Mr. Lawton’s thoughts and share some comments of your own.
